Lorenzo Brown played his first EuroLeague regular season with Panathinaikos, finishing in third place in the standings and securing a Playoff matchup against Anadolu Efes.

He made 32 appearances for Ergin Ataman’s team, averaging seven points, two rebounds, and 2.7 assists—far below his stats from the previous season with Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he had 13.2 points, 6.1 assists, and 2.8 rebounds during the 2023/24 season.

Talking to Meridian Sport after a final regular season win over Crvena zvezda, Brown reflected on his role in Athens.

As far as I’m concerned, I think I could have contributed a bit more to the team, maybe played a few more minutes, but that’s not always within my control. As for the team, I think we have a great team, a deep roster, excellent players, and I hope we can make the most of that in the playoffs.”

Addressing the possibility of a return to Crvena zvezda, he was open yet cautious, saying, “I would definitely love that. I mean, who wouldn’t? The atmosphere is one of the best in the whole league. As I said, they are getting better every year. I hope that maybe this year or next year they’ll manage to make the playoffs and create an even bigger name for Zvezda.

Finally, Brown commented on his future with Panathinaikos.

Actually, I don’t pay much attention to the media and the news because… who really knows what will happen? But I have a three-year contract here, and I’m focused on next year,” Lorenzo Brown concluded.
