In a game where Dimitris Diamantidis was officially named Euroleague Basketball Legend, Panathinaikos beat Cedevita at home (76-60), with a dominant performance in the first half (42-19), and secured their place to the playoffs.

For the winners, James Gist had 15 points and nine rebounds, whereas Marko Arapovic scored 15 points and grabbed eight boards for the losing squad.

Panathinaikos took control of the game from the beginning and never looked back (8-2, 14-5), ending the first quarter in front by 15 points (20-5).

Later, the Greens continued to play very well on both ends of floor and extended their lead to 23 points, after 20 minutes in the game (42-19).

In the second half, things didn’t change much, with the Greek team easily retaining its double-digit advantage and closing the third quarter in front by 21 (58-37).

In the fourth quarter, Cedevita tried to make a come-back. The visitors went on a 12-0 run and cut the deficit to nine points (58-49), however Panathinaikos stood tall (70-55) and secured the victory and the qualification to the playoffs.
