Anadolu Efes will have to cope in its last Euroleague game of the season, against Panathinaikos in Istanbul, without key players Thomas Heurtel and Dario Saric. They are both injured and deemed unable to help their team.
Efes is already eliminated, therefore this match has no serious interest for the Turkish squad. However the Greens are not indifferent at all, since a victory will preserve their chances of entering the playoffs with the home court advantage.
If Panathinaikos wins the game and, at the same time, Lokomotiv Kuban is defeated by Darussafaka Dogus on the road, then coach Djordjevic’s team will finish the Top 16 in the second place of its Group.
