With all the rumors surrounding Lokomotiv Kuban’s future and lately Anthony Randolph being linked with CSKA Moscow, the club decided to change this pattern before getting to Berlin.
The goal of Lokomotiv is to win the Euroleague and be part of the competition next season. That’s why according to a club source: “The truth is that our sponsors and partners want to keep the team together for next year if we win the title and stay in Euroleague, taking into account the raise of salaries next season”.
So, the motive for the team couldn’t be bigger for the upcoming Final Four. It remains to be seen if Lokomotiv, considering its desire to be part of Euroleague next year, ends up being part of the competition, even if they don’t get to win the title. According to the same source: “For the moment we think about going all the way to the title, because there’s no clarity yet on the matter of the wild card”.
