Lokomotiv Kuban is the underdog of this Final Four and Malcolm Delaney compared this situation with Maccabi Tel Aviv back in 2014.
As he said in the press conference: “We have a system and style of playing that everybody likes to watch. It’s going to be fun tomorrow. (Ed.note: former Final Four MVP) Tyrese Rice is kind of a role mode. We are in a bit of a similar situation as he was in 2014”.
And coach Giorgos Bartzokas added: “It’s a great honor for Lokomotiv Kuban to be in a Final Four in just the second season in Euroleague”.
