Dmitri Konov was the man who got into the spotlights for the wrong reasons in the Euroleague Final because of the incident he have with Nikola Kalinic of Fenerbahce, while sitting on the courtsides seats of the Final.
However, the Russian fan apologized to Kalinic for the whole misunderstanding and wanted this apology to be known in the public via Eurohoops. Konov send the following message to Fenerbahce‘s forward.
“Nikola
My name is Dmitri, we had a short but emotional chat just off the court in Berlin Sunday night)))
Thank you for the Twitter message last night, all accepted and appreciated. On my side please know that I am sorry we both got too emotional which was no good for the game and the teams.
Please know that my move was nothing more than protecting my wife. Didn’t mean to offend you.
That was a great game, outstanding players performance, CSKA got a bit of luck at the end.
