After winning his second consecutive Greek League title with Olympiacos, Othello Hunter is packing bags for the next destination in his career journey: Real Madrid.
The American center had already confirmed Eurohoops’ report on the transfer after the end of Game 4 of the finals between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. Now, he officially said his farewell to the Reds with a message, posted in the club’s official website.
“In 2014 I came in wanting to win my first professional championship ever. Instead, I got to be in the Euroleague Final for the first time in my career, won two back to back Greek League championships. Most importantly, built a lifetime family and friendship with people who are wonderful. I also want to say thank you guys for being the great club that you are. This goes from the bottom to the top of the organization. To the fans, you will always be in my heart. Go Reds!”
