Giannis Bourousis has received a more than generous offer from Panathinaikos and the next few hours may determine the future of the Liga Endesa MVP who has the chance to return to Greece.
The Greek center has many offers in his hands, but Panathinaikos demonstrated to him that he is their top target. If he accepts the offer, he will became the leader of the Greens and the team will be build around him. This a very tantalizing scenario for Bourousis and according to sources close to the situation, he is close to saying “yes” to him.
The 32 years old center has on the table also an offer for 1,6 m. euros for the next two seasons by Laboral Kutxa, a 1,5 million euros offer for next year from Turkey and $ 3,7 million by Jiangsu Dragons of Chinese CBA for the next two seasons.
Still Panathinaikos’ offer can compete with the best of them and the real threat for the Greens seems to be a possible offer from the NBA, which can be made after the 1st of July. That’s why Panathinaikos is waiting for an answer as soon as possible and Bourousis’ future can be decided in the next few hours.
