Lithuanian champions Zalgiris decided to extend the contracts of Robertas Javtokas and Renaldas Seibutis as the team prepares for the new season in LKL but also in Euroleague.
This upcoming season will be big man Robertas Javtokas’ sixth one in the team. Last season, Javtokas played 9 games, in which he averaged 4.9 points and 3.7 rebounds. In the words of the player: “I am pleased to continue my career with Zalgiris. Last season, for obvious reasons, I was not very successful, so I still have the desire and strength to help the club for future battles. Euroleague has a new format and a lot of good teams will come to Zalgiris’ way.”
Renaldas Seibutis will also continue being part of the team. “I had the intention to play it more than one season. As I mentioned when joining the team, playing in Zalgiris was one of my childhood dreams, so it is nice to stay in Kaunas.” said the 30 year old shooting guard.
