Barcelona has contacted Jayson Granger in order for the player to join the team since Tomas Satoransky left for the Washington Wizards, as Mundo Deportivo reports.
The player still has a valid contract with Efes. However, the Turkish club is willing to let him go after the arrival of Velimir Perasovic in the bench, since the coach’s plans for next season’s roster which don’t include Granger.
Barcelona already knows which are the player’s desires and the amount of money he asks for, which should include both his salary and an amount to Efes. It’s up to the Spanish club to decide whether to begin the process of inducing Granger to the team.
The former Unicaja guard spent last season in Turkey and Anadolu Efes, with which he averaged 10.2 points and 3.0 rebounds in 23 Euroleague games.
