Βarcelona is in advanced talks with Valencia for the acquisition of Guillem Vives, according to several media reports from Spain. Barcelona has to pay for the player’s buyout option, but it’s more likely that the ACB runner ups will offer some players to Valencia in order to reduce that amount.
The 23–year–old point guard spent the previous 2 seasons in Valencia and still has an active deal with the team for one more season. Vives arrived to Valencia from Joventut’s junion and senior teams.
The player is also part of the Spanish National team, with which he reached the gold medal in Eurobasket 2015 and in the past he’s also won a bronze with the U20 team in 2013 and a gold with the U18 one in 2011.
