Dimitris Diamantidis was the guest of honor in the first day of the “Diamonds are forever” tournament and he didn’t step on the court in order to play.
He did it only at the half time in order to be honored by Maccabi Tel Aviv as he received a jersey of the Israeli club with his name on by longtime president Simons Mizrahi and fellow Euroleague legend Nicola Vujcic.
Οf course the fact that Diamantidis was not playing, didn’t stop the Panathinaikos fans from chanting his game almost constantly.
