Galatasaray got the trophy of the “Cagliari Cup” pre-season tournament after beating Lokomotiv Kuban in a very close contest that ended with the Turks prevailing 84-81.
Austin Daye had 18 points, captain Sinan Guler added 17, while Justin Dentmon scored 14 and Jon Diebler 13. Ege Arar, Vladimir Micov, Russ Smith and Tibor Pleiss were missing for the winning team, which is Euroleague bound. On the other hand Lokomotiv Kuban which is totally changed and will compete in the Eurocup had a 77-76 lead with three minutes left, but in the end Galatasaray closed the game the right way.
