One day after the break down of the initial negotiations between Panathinaikos and Xavi Pascual, the agent of the Spanish coach, former player Zoran Savic, arrived in Athens and the talks started again.
It’s obvious that Panathinaikos considers Pascual the best available option, however the situation between the two sides remains full of questionmarks. Pascual asked at least for a two-year quaranteed deal, full control of the sports departement of the team and also immediate roster additions.
The Greens were not willing on Wednesday to give him everything they wanted, but without any other candidate with Pascual’s pedigree available, things may have changed.
In the next few hours things will be clear, still it’s obvious that Panathinaikos is ready to meet at least some of Pascual’s terms and that’s why his agent traveled to Athens.
