Another milestone reached by the Serbian play-making wizard! With the six assists he dished in the victory of CSKA Moscow, Milos Teodosic reached third place among the all-time assist leaders in the history of Euroleague.
Milos now counts no less than 978 (!) assists in the competition. An incredible number given the young of his age in comparison with the other top players in the list (29 while all the rest are above 34 years old), plus an achievement that showcases the rhythm and consistency with which he creates baskets for his teammates.
With his accomplishment, he “broke” what was previously a Greek trio on the top of the related list, since he surpassed ex teammate in Olympiacos and CSKA Moscow Teo Papaloukas (who is now fourth). Only Vassilis Spanoulis (shared locker rooms with Teodosic during 2010-2011 in Olympiacos) and retired Euroleague legend Dimitris Diamantidis are now above Milos Teodosic.
