K.C. Rivers gave a scare to Panathinaikos‘ staff last night (11/12) after being forced to withdraw early during the Greens’ game against AEK for the Greek Basket League because of some pains he felt on his left adductor. Thankfully, his injury is not as serious as initially feared.
The examinations the American swingman underwent revealed that he pulled his left adductor muscle. He began therapy and his participation in the upcoming Euroleague game against Fenerbahce in OAKA is considered doubtful.
Rivers has been averaging 11.4 points and 2.3 rebounds so far in EuroLeague being the 3rd top scorer of Panathinaikos in the competition.
