The defeat by Panathinaikos created one more crisis in Milan. After the game coach Jasmin Repesa admitted that a players only meeting will be held, as the team tries to find its way.
Repesa explained: “I’m disappointed. We worked hard and well during the practices leading up to this game and we didn’t execute the plan. When we went down we didn’t respond and the crisis lasted longer than usual. Why? This is a question I can’t answer at this time. We need to analyze everything. I asked to the players to talk among them because it’s necessary to put everything out before Barcelona and I’m not sure playing immediately is good or bad in this situation”.
Despite the mediocre results, a coaching change is not expected at this time for the Italian champions, who are also in talks with Mantas Kalnietis in order to extend his contract.
