The highly-acclaimed Insider Euroleague Documentaries Series will continue giving fans a unique inside view of the competition’s stars in the coming weeks and months with a number of exciting new movie productions.
The collaboration between Turkish Airlines and Euroleague Basketball will again bring powerful and tailor-made inspiring stories to the fans by unveiling the emotions, thoughts and actions of players, teams and icons at the highest echelons of the sport in Europe.
The Insider Euroleague Documentaries Series will enter into the lives of Euroleague stars with exclusive interviews and captivating behind-the-scenes footage, allowing basketball fans to get closer than ever before to some of the most compelling characters and storylines in the Euroleague.
After last year’s personal look at the basketball lives of the one and only Zeljko Obradovic, the Pesic connection at Bayern Munich, irrepressible Real Madrid star Sergio Llull, and EuroLeague Legend Dimitris Diamantidis. The Insider Series this season will tip off by profiling three-time EuroLeague champion Vassilis Spanoulis, including in-depth interviews with the Olympiacos Piraeus star and those who know him best.
The first documentary will start the new series in style, promising a fascinating glimpse into exactly what makes one of European basketball’s greatest icons tick.
Next, The Insider presented by Turkish Airlines will be heading to Moscow to spend time getting to know reigning EuroLeague and Final Four MVP Nando De Colo, the French star who also won last season’s Top Scorer Trophy.
Another movie in the making is an Italian job, revealing how Brose Bamberg coach Andrea Trinchieri, star player Nicolo Melli, and sporting director Daniele Baiesi are living the dream together in Freak City.
And finally, we’ll be heading to Istanbul to discover how the breathtaking Turkish metropolis, which will host this season’s Final Four, has become one of the great capital cities of European basketball with an ever-growing passion for the sport.
