Triumph for Real Madrid past Crvena Zvezda

Real Madrid grabbed an emphatic win over Crvena Zvezda, 98-68, improving to a 19-6, while forcing Zvezda to 14-11.

A record breaking night for the Whites, starting from Felipe Reyes’ game no. 279, the second highest number of games played in the competition (only behind Juan Carlos Navarro)!

Jonas Maciulis, Gustavo Ayon and Jeffery Taylor all scored 12 points each, while Sergio Llull and Anthony Randolph added 11 points.

Llull and Maciulis set the crowd on fire from early one and with a 3-pointers feast, Real managed to score an impressive amount of 38 points after 10 minutes, keeping the visitors at 24.

The hosts took the Serbians by storm in the second quarter as well, breaking the record for most points scored in the first half this season (58), leading 63-44!

Zvezda’s torture only kept lingering in the second half, with the deficit rising to 21 points midway through the third period (73-52), while the amazing Llull made the score 80-57.

Real’s lead rised to 31 points at 36′, marking the win in the best way possible!
