The medical exams revealed that the 22 yerars old player suffered from a fracture of the fourth metacarpal bone on his right hand which needed surgical treatment.
The surgery was made last night at the Orthopedic Clinic of the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza and was performed by Dr. Marco Bigoni, head doctor of the club. Fontecchio will begin his rehabilitation in the next few days, still it remains uknown when he will be able to return to the court.
