Maccabi Tel Aviv has expressed its interest to acquire Sarunas Jasikevicius for the helm of the team, as reported by Israeli journalist Roey Gladstone.
The “Yellows” want to sign their former player for 2+1 seasons. According to Gladstone, Saras is expected to give his answer when the season with Zalgiris Kaunas is over.
Jasikevicius played for Maccabi Tel Aviv from 2003 to 2005 winning back-to-back EuroLeague titles. He was named MVP of the 2005 Final Four.
