This is not a trip down the memory lane, but a vivid travel – thanks to Turkish Airlines – to the series which is expected to be the most balanced of all in the playoffs.
Still, when you arrive in Istanbul, exiting the aircraft and getting to the same hotel that Olympiacos has picked since the 2011 Istanbul preparation tournament you can’t but think back.
It has been already five years since Printezis “shot” and the underdog of that Final Four remains the favorite in the series against the team they beat in the 2013 playoffs.
There’s just two much history and two much coincidences as Olympiacos and Anadolu Efes are getting ready for Game 4. In any case there will also be a Game 4 and Eurohoops will be present as history may – or may not – repeat itself.
