Spanoulis will be playing his 5th Euroleague final in a few hours: “It’s a great achievement for me to play my 5th final, but for the moment I only focus on the current one”, he notes.
“It’s possibly going to be a tight game, so we’ve got to control the pace and do all the little things we need to achieve the victory”, says Olympiacos‘ captain, who took charge in the final quarter of the semifinal and pushed CSKA Moscow over the edge.
“Defense is also going to crucial. Both teams begin from there. Fenerbahce is a mentally tough team, so that gives them an advantage.”
