According to Eurohoops sources, Clyburn is ready to sign a two-year deal with the “Army team” and this deal can be official after the end of the season in the VTB League and the Turkish BSL. After proving that he can be a factor in the highest level in Europe and with Darussafaka being bound to play in the Eurocup next season, CSKA Moscow is probably the best offer he will get.
Clyburn’s contract with Darussafaka Dogus includes a buy out both for the NBA and Europe and CSKA Moscow is ready to pay it in order to get the player. The fact that Darussafaka will play in the Eurocup next season and will lose coach David Blatt in the summer, means that many changes will come in the roster.
As for CSKA Moscow, they will be able to add a quality forward who has the athletism to help them on both ends of the floor.
