According to Spanish newspaper “Sport” Navarro wants to retire the “proper way”, preferably after winning one more title and that’s why he wants to be back on the court.
The Spanish icon would work this summer in order to be in the best possible shape after being plagued by injuries and he hopes that also Barcelona can bounce back.
In recent years Navarro is signing only one year deals with the club, an arrangement that fits both sides, and in the upcoming days he is expected to meet with the management and extend his contract.
Born in 1980, Navarro made his debut in the first team of Barcelona back in 1997 and with the exception of the 2007-08 season, when he played for the Memphis Grizzlies, he never wore the jersey of an other club.
