Brooks (2.03 meters, 27 years old) averaged 7.3 points and 4.2 rebounds in 22 EuroCup games last season. Brooks boosted his scoring average to 9.7 points in the EuroCup Finals, helping Unicaja win its first title in 11 years. He played all 54 games in the EuroCup and Spanish League for Unicaja this season.

The player joined Unicaja from Avtodor Saratov, where he averaged 13.1 points and 8.2 rebounds in 13 Eurocup games in the 2015-16 season, his first in the competition. He led the 2015-16 Eurocup in performance index ranking average (21.3 per game), ranking third in rebounds and eighth in free throw percentage (89.6%).

“I am just ecstatic to have the opportunity to come back and play with some of the same guys, for the same staff and the same fans who showed so much support this year,” Brooks said. “I am excited to be able come back here in Malaga and play. The city is great and we had a great year. I hope we can continue to build on this in my second year”, he said after the extension was signed.
