According to “El Correo” the name of Pablo Prigioni is among the candidates to sit on the bench and start his coaching career in the team where he thrived as a player.
Nothing is decided yet, however, and Alonso still has a contract for next year with the club. However there are many indications that Baskonia will have an other coach next season and Prigioni is by far the most intriguing name. After all with Sarunas Jasikevicius proving at Zalgiris Kaunas that he can be as great a coach, as he was a player, an other point guard like Prigioni can be ready to follow the same path.
