Zalgiris got reinforced in the point guard position with the acquirement of Vasilije Micic. The 23-year-old Serbian finished the season in Tofas of Turkey.
Micic began his career in Mega Vizura of Serbia in 2010, where he stayed until 2014. He joined Bayern Munich in 2014 then got loaned to Crvena Zvezda for the rest of the 2015–16 season.
The Serbian player was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 52nd overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. Micic was ready to join Anadolu Efes but with Zalgiris losing Leo Westermann to CSKA Moscow things changed.
