Vorontsevich (2.07 meters, 29 years old) has spent more than a decade with CSKA, the club he joined from Novosibirsk in 2006. Over the course of 11 years, Vorontsevich has appeared with CSKA in seven EuroLeague Final Fours, winning two titles in 2008 and 2016, and has played in 205 EuroLeague games, which is second most in club history, behind only Victor Khryapa.
Last season, Vorontsevich posted 7.3 points per game on 47.7% three-point shooting and pulled down an average of 2.9 rebounds in 35 games. Vorontsevich also has helped CSKA win seven Russian League titles and six VTB League crowns, and has also been a member of the Russian national team, wining a bronze medal at EuroBasket 2011. He is the second player CSKA re-signed this offseason, after keeping Kyle Hines in Moscow for another two years.
