In his two seasons to date with CSKA, 28-year-old Higgins helped the team win its first EuroLeague title since 2008 and to reach the Final Four last season, in which he averaged 9.5 points – third-best on the team – on 40.3% three-point shooting in 32 EuroLeague games.
In his rookie EuroLeague season of 2015-16, Higgins led the competition with 53.97% three-point accuracy, hitting 34 of 63 attempts from the arc. Over the last two seasons, only one player has made more triples at a higher rate than his 47.2%, which is also the eighth-best career mark in EuroLeague history.
Higgins has previously played for Royal Hali Gaziantep in Turkey, Triumph Lyubertsy of Russia and Denver and Charlotte of the NBA. In his time in Moscow, he has helped CSKA take back-to-back VTB United League championships, as well.
