It’s not a secret that Khimki had made a move for him, like Unics Kazan also did, however there’s already a deal between the Greek coach and the Russian club.
Bartzokas returns to Russia for Khimki after leading Lokomotiv Kuban to the EuroLeague Final in 2016. He has also coached Olympiacos to the EuroLeague title in 2013 and before that he led Greek club Marousi to the EuroLeague.
He is considered one of the up and coming European coaches and his name has been linked also with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
