Russian big man Andrey Lopatin (18, 2,08 m) signed new 5-year deal with CSKA Moscow, as the club announced today.

Lopatin is a member of the CSKA Moscow junior teams since 2014, he has also played in preparation games with the senior team, he has won two VTB United Youth League titles and JBL title and he also played for Russian junior National Teams.

Natalia Furaeva, CSKA Moscow Vice President, considers the signing of Lopatin a sign of progress for CSKA Moscow’s youth project: “Lopatin is the first player to sign a long-term contract under our new concept of youth program development. Andrey undoubtely is a modern versatile big man, we see the perspective of him as part of the senior team”.
