Efes keeps an options to extend his contract until the end of the 2018-19 season. He averaged 10.8 points on 46.2% three-point shooting plus 3.4 rebounds in 30 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games off the bench last season. Motum also helped Zalgiris win a pair of Lithuanian League crowns and the 2017 Lithuanian Cup in his time with the club.
After playing college basketball at Washington State University, Motum made his European debut with Granarolo Bologna of Italy in in 2013 and spent the following season with Adelaide 36ers in Australia. Motum has become a regular with the Australian national team in recent years and with the Boomer won the gold medal at the 2015 Oceanian Championship and played at the 2014 Basketball World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games.
