Guler has taken his decision and Fenerbahce needs quality local talent, so the match is more than obvious. During last season, the 33 years old Turkish guard averaged 10.5 points and 5.6 assists in the EuroLeague.
Guler is probably the best Turkish player of his generation. After growing up in the junior teams of Besiktaş, Guler made his debut with the senior team during the 2000–01 season. He has also played for Darussafaka, Anadolu Efes and Galatasaray since 2013, becoming the team captain.
Guler has been a regular member of the senior Turkish national basketball team since 2009.
