Maccabi Tel Aviv officially announced that team captain Guy Pnini won’t wear the “Yellows” jersey next season. His contract expired with the completion of 2016/2017 and won’t be renewed.
The club will hold a farewell event which will be organized in cooperation with the Israeli player.
Pnini, 33, has been playing with Maccabi Tel Aviv since 2009. During that period he’s won the 2014 EuroLeague title, the 2011, 2012 and 2014 Israeli League plus the Israeli Cup eight times (from 2010 to 2017).
He finished the previous season averaging 2.6 points in almost 12 minutes per game in EuroLeague.
