Errick McCollum is one of the players listed in the agenda of Olympiacos, according to SDNA.gr, and, as he said himself, the prospect of signing with the EuroLeague finalists finds him rather intrigued.
“Olympiacos? Anytime they call you always answer,” he told Eurohoops. “A lot of tradition and success there. High level Euroleague team that is intriguing for sure.”
After gaining a solid idea of what is like to play in both Europe and China, both these options are appealing for the American combo guard.
“I enjoy both Europe and China for different reasons but at end of day I just love to play ball”, he said.
McCollum thrived under the guidance of Olympiacos head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos back in 2013/2014 with the jersey of Panionios. He finished the season with 17.9 points per game and was named the top scorer of the Greek League.
“Coach Sfairopoulos is a great coach and an even better person! He has success everywhere he goes and is a huge factor in how my game and reputation has grown from when I was a young player.”
