According to Eurohoops sources, Keith Langford is finalizing a deal to terminate his contract with Unics Kazan. The two sides still have an active 1.8 million dollars contract for one more season, yet the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Award winner of last season is looking to explore other options.
With him becoming a free agent soon, it is certain that plenty of teams will try to make a move on him, yet the challenging part will be to combine high-level competition in Euroleague along with a salary that will match Unics’ one.
The top EuroLeague scorer is reportedly on Panathinaikos and Valencia’s radar and ready make their move on him, while his former team, Maccabi, is also in the mix. Apart from EuroLeague teams, Langford might as well consider options coming from the Chinese League and the NBA
The 33-year-old player first joined Unics in 2014, from Olimpia Milano, while he won his first Alphonso Ford with the latter in 2014.
