Fenerbahce is in advanced talks with Crvena Zvezda for the acquisition of Serbian swingman Marko Guduric, according to Eurohoops sources.
The deal should be finalized really soon and it will bring a significant (and of vital importance considering the economic woes of the club) buyout sum to the Serbian club while Guduric will put his pen to a 3+1 contract with the 2017 EuroLeague champions.
The 22-year-old player finished the previous season scoring 7.8 points, dishing out 2.1 assists and grabbing 2.1 rebounds during 17 minutes game in EuroLeague. He averaged 9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in ABA League where Red Star won the championship title.
Guduric will become the fifth key member of Crvena Zvezda who won’t stay with the team following the departures of Marko Simonovic (Zenit St. Petersburg), Charles Jenkins (Khimki Moscow), Luka Mitrovic (Brose Bamberg) and the expected transfer of Ognjen Kuzmic to Real Madrid.
