Khimki Moscow continues presenting one improved offer after the other to Panathinaikos for Chris Singleton and is also ready give the player a more lucrative deal than the one he has with the Greens.
That is why PAO already has a plan that involves Justin Hamilton as a potential replacement, if Singleton moves to Khimki.
According to OnSports.gr, Hamilton is considered as the primary option for the frontline of the Greek club in case Khimki acquires Singleton.
The Russian club has increased its buyout bid to 1.1 million euros and can offer Singleton an increased salary compared to the contract with his current team. Hence the “planning ahead” of Panathinaikos.
Hamilton asks for 2 million euros in order to return to Europe where he last played for Valencia in 2015/2016. That season was impressive enough to attract the attention of the Brooklyn Nets that brought him on board. He finished 2016/2017 averaging 7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
