Khimki Moscow officially announced the signing of American scoring swingman James Anderson on a two-year deal.
Anderson, 28, comes from Turkish team Darussafaka Dogus where he played under the guidance of David Blatt last season. He averaged 9.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in EuroLeague helping the club reach the competition’s playoffs for the first time in the history of the franchise.
The upcoming season will be Anderson’s third in EuroLeague following the previous one with Dacka and his 2014/2015 stint with Zalgiris Kaunas when he introduced himself by notching 14.5 points per game.
Khimki is building quite the powerful roster since it has kept superstar Alexey Shved while acquiring Stefan Markovic, Charles Jenkins, Andrey Zubkov, Anthony Gill and bringing back versatile forward Tyler Honeycutt.
