Maccabi Tel Aviv officially announced the signing of American combo guard DeAndre Kane to a 1+1 deal.
Kane, 28, has previous experience in the Israeli League with Hapoel Eilat for which he played during the second half of 2015/2016. He spent most of last season with Nizhny Novgorod averaging 16.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in EuroCup, before heading to Spain for Real Betis.
The American player becomes the ninth (!) new addition of Maccabi Tel Aviv following the return of Alex Tyus and Jake Cohen plus the transfers of Pierre Jackson, John DiBartolomeo, Michael Roll, Karam Mashour, DeShaun Thomas and Jonah Bolden.
So far this is the biggest renovation among all EuroLeague clubs.
