Barcelona and Ludde Hakanson have reached a mutual agreement to terminate the contract that kept the player bound to the club until June 30, 2018.
The 21-year-old Swedish guard first joined the club in 2001 and went through all youth squads before joining the senior Barcelona team with which he registered 14 participations in both EuroLeague and Liga Endesa.
Hakanson spent the previous season on loan to Fuenlabrada with which he averaged 8.3 points and 2.6 assists per game in EuroCup.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Hakanson is very close to joining Estudiantes. The team from Madrid will also participate in next season’s Basketball Champions League apart from Liga Endesa.
