The Reds are in advanced talks with Hollis Thompson who finished last season in the NBADL after playing for the New Orleans Pelicans and the Sixers.
To be exact Thompson played for the Sixers for three full seasons from 2013 until 2016 and 31 games last year. He is the three-point specialist the team needs and while Jarrell Eddie had emerged as the main candidate for the job, the situation has changed.
It remains to be seen how things will play out. According to sources close to the talks, the two sides are near a final deal that can be announced soon.
