Anadolu Efes officially announced the addition of international Slovenian small forward Edo Muric with a 1+1 deal.
Muric, 25, spent the previous season also in Turkey, wearing the jersey of Banvit. He averaged 5.6 points and 3.1 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League while the Turkish club reached the competition’s Final.
The Slovenian player registers 4.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in the EuroBasket so far where his national team has already made it to the semifinal stage for the first time since 2009. He dropped 4 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished out 4 assists in last night’s (12/9) quarterfinal victory over Latvia.
With Anadolu Efes, Muric will make his EuroLeague debut. Including this latest signing, the Turkish team has eight new players (the other seven are Josh Adams, Errick McCollum, Ricky Ledo, Krunoslav Simon, Vladimir Stimac, Birkan Batuk and Brock Motum) on next season’s roster.
