Maccabi Tel Aviv and Unics Kazan were combined for 200+ plus points and the “Yellows” won 101 – 10 in overtime during the first game of the “International Basketball Tournament Crete”, taking place in Heraklion Crete.
DeAndre Kane led Maccabi with 17 points, Pierre Jackson added 15 plus 6 assists while DeShaun Thomas, John Dibartolomeo, Michael Roll and Jonah Bolden added 12 points apiece. The latter also dished out 7 assists.
For Unics Kazan, Jamar Smith scored 28 and dropped 7 assists, Vladislav Trushkin 15 , Quino Colom 14 and Melvin Ejim 12.
Maccabi will face the winner of Olympiacos – Crvena Zvezda.
