Late surge helps Fenerbahce beat Borac

For 30 minutes Fenerbahce struggled against the very competitive efforts of Borac but in the end won thanks to a hot fourth-quarter output.

The reigning EuroLeague champions outscored Borac 28 – 12 in the final period and prevailed 93 – 81 in “Borac Hall” of Cacak, Serbia.

Five players of Zeljko Obradovic scored in double figures. Jan Vesely and Sinan Guler had 12 points each, Jason Thompson and Nicolo Melli 11 apiece while Gigi Datome added 10 points.

Marko Marinovic notched 17 points and Marko Stojadinovic 13 for Borac that even led 69 – 65 at the end of the third yet didn’t manage to stop Fener‘s late efforts.
