Besiktas prevailed over Olympiacos with 69-65 in their friendly preparation game.
Ex-Olympiacos‘ D.J. Strawberry led the winners with 17 points and 5 rebounds.
For the Greek team, Brian Roberts and Nikola Milutinov scored in double digits, with 14 and 12 points respectively.
Despite having a 32-31 advantage at halftime, Besiktas couldn’t outstand Olympiacos‘ pressure in the second half. The visitors got a 7-point advantage early in the third quarter. After 30’, the Greek side stayed up 48-46. Towards the end of the game, the Turkish team found the upper hand and eventually reached the win.
