Justin Doellman has signed with Anadolu Efes, as his agent confirmed on Twitter.
The former player of Barcelona arrives on the Turkish team in order to cover the “4” position, replacing Derrick Brown who will be sidelined for up to six weeks.
A “stretch power forward prototype”, Doellman, 32, averaged 7.8 points and 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game during 19:57 minutes per game in last season’s EuroLeague, playing only 15 matches due to injury problems.
Thi is going to be Doellman‘s fifth season in EuroLeague following stints with Barcelona (2014-2017) and Orleanaise (2009-2010). He also played for Valencia from 2012 to 2014.
UPDATE: Efes officially announced Doellman’s signing until the end of the 2017-2018 season with an option to release him in 2 months and two weeks.
