Vangelis Mantzaris’s status ahead of the Olympiacos – Unicaja Malaga game for Round 2 of the EuroLeague regular season is considered “doubtful”.
The Reds’ starting point guard got injured in the Greek League’s game between his team and Kymi, suffering a contusion on the first metatarsal bone of his left foot.
As the Greek club announced, his participation in the match vs Malaga will be decided at the very last moment.
Olympiacos saw Brian Roberts making his official debut vs Kymi while Vassilis Spanoulis remains sidelined for now.
Both Unicaja Malaga and Olympiacos won in Round 1 of the EuroLeague, the first against reigning champion Fenerbahce and the latter vs Baskonia.
