According to Eurohoops sources, there’s not any offer yet on the table for the player and the Turkish club. Still, Real Madrid needs to negotiate with Banvit, if they want to make a run for signing Vidmar.
The Slovenian Eurobasket champ signed a new two-year deal with Banvit last summer. The contract doesn’t include any kind of an opt-out clause and that’s why it will not be ease for Madrid to get him.
The question is if the “Whites” are willing to start negotiating, or if they will look elsewhere for the big man they need after Ognjen Kuzmic’s injury.
